Not able to access "Routes"

Hello,

Currently our content panel contains links such as "Recent Discussions" and "Bookmarks." When our users click on these links, they go to the "General" area instead of a desired path. I learned that we can change the routes that these links take; however I am unable to change the route paths in "Settings" in the Dashboard. The only option I have under "Settings" in Dashboard is Outgoing Email.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Chris

  • Sorry, should have mentioned this is for www.snuffhouse.org
  • Hi, I've removed your custom route that was redirecting that page. It should work normally now.

We don't allow direct access to the Routes option because it's very easy to break your entire site using that option.
  • Thanks, could you do the same for "My Bookmarks" and "My Discussions" tabs? These features used to work and then stopped, many of our members have been asking for them.
  • I should clarify: Is there anything I can do in Dashboard that will make the Bookmarks tab redirect to the bookmarks, same with My Discussions?
  • These should now be fixed as well. No, there was no option within the Dashboard to correct that issue.

Ok, those are working great. When you originally changed the recent discussions tab it created a mixed layout which was nice but now everything is in one thread which the users prefer.

  • You can control the appearance of your home page here: http://snuffhouse.org/dashboard/settings/homepage

The "Discussions" link always leads to a normal discussions list.
  • Can I remove the "Discussions" link up top without affecting the "Recent Discussions" link?
  • Yes
