Default user icons / pictures

Is there a way to set a different default user icon / picture other than the random smiley faces?

If not I think this would be a great feature addon.

The smileys are called Vanillicons. We think that it's better to have a Vanillicon than nothing at all. You can disable them in the Dashboard.

Members can updates their profile pictures by clicking on the picture on the profile page.

You can also enable the Gravatar plugin which will use a Gravatar instead of a Vanillicon. Further, members that user Twitter or Facebook to connect, will have that profile photo used.

Since this is for a work forum we prefer something a little more professional. I want to say it use to be just a gray silhouette, then it changed to the random generated vanillicons...not sure why. Where are the settings to change this back. I have the Vanillaicons disabled in the add-ons, but they are still showing up.

The gravatar plugin uses vanillicon too. There is a hidden config setting to turn this off though which I've done for you.
