Calendar add-on?

All,

I love the forums... I'm using them to coordinate a bunch of volunteers for a church and we might extend a portion to be public on our website.

As it turns out, we really need a group calendar. A place where we can list events and ideally tag discussions to be about a given day or event. We could sign-up for Google Docs, but I'd really prefer something integrated with Vanilla.

Any suggestions?

Hi Scott, we don't offer a calendaring plugin. Internally, we do use Google Calendar to coordinate our schedules. If you wish to embed a Google Calendar into your forum, I could assist you with that.

Thanks for the reply. I tried to figure it out on my own to no avail... some help would be much appreciated. We can set up a Google Calendar easily... if you'd walk me through how to embed the thing, that would be great.

Hi Scott, the trouble is that Vanilla will strip out the Google Calendar embed code. I've enabled a special plugin on your site that will allow administrators to post "raw" HTML without it being filtered. Give it a shot now and let me know if you have any trouble.

Ah -- that explains why suddenly I needed to write messages with </p> tags! I thought I was going crazy. :)
