Assign role after registration?

Hi -

Once a user is confirmed, how can I tell Vanilla to assign them a role other than "Member"? Member seems to be the default.

Actually I just checked again and couldn't find what you linked anywhere. What menu item is it connected to?

It isn't. Its very easy to break everything by making poor decisions on that page. So we hide it unless you ask.

It says "Check all roles that should be applied to new/approved users." -- Does this mean it only changes the role for any future users? Not current users, correct?

Yes, this only is applied to future new/approved users.
