E-mail sometimes links to https, sometimes to http

The email notification from posts to our forums sometimes come with an http link, other times it comes with an https link.

For some browsers the https link doesn't work (or breaks because of security issues). Why is the notification inconsistent, and why isn't it always http? Could this be a bug?

It's possible it's a bug. I'm looking into what could be causing this, thanks for your patience.

The most plausible explanation is that one or more members of your site are using the HTTPS version even though there is no certificate installed. The notification emailer uses the current protocol in outgoing emails triggered by the session.

I've manually formatted your outgoing email links to always use http:// so that should solve it. Let us know if you see any further issues.
