Saving data.

I am looking to save all my content on my forum to my computer so I can go ahead and upload it to a new forum I am creating. This is from a previous self-hosted version that I am moving over to a hosted plan. Please advise.

You'll want to export the entire database. What forum software is it? Does your web host provide access to a database tool like phpMyAdmin thru their control panel?

Does your web host provide access to a database tool like phpMyAdmin thru their control panel? You'll want to do a MySQL export of the entire database's content & structure.
