How does the 30-day free trial work?
If you cancel your account within 30 days of signing up your credit card will not be billed. You can cancel your account at any time by simply clicking on the 'My Account' button in your dashboard (when you're logged in). If you are on the Small Group Trial, you will be asked to confirm your subscription before billing commences.
Can you handle very large communities?
Yes, some Vanilla communities are generating 10s of millions of monthly page views. Vanilla can scale to meet spiky or sustained high-traffic.
Can I change plans at any time?
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. The one caveat is that if you are downgrading, you may need to contact us to assist in the transition of removing features from your account.
What are my payment options?
We currently accept Visa, Mastercard and AMEX through our online payment system. Please Contact us if you'd like to pay another way.
Where can I see a list of features and plugins?
Plugins are a great way to customize your forum. A list of plugins can be found here.
Can you migrate a hacked forum and clean out SPAM?
Yes. We are can migrate your forum, clean out the SPAM and hacked accounts and put in place safeguards to keep your forum secure.
Do you offer services?
Yes, Vanilla offers services to help configure your community, migrate your data from an existing platform, create a custom theme or help integrate to your website, app or game.
Can I upgrade my plan during the free trial?
Yes, you can upgrade from the Small Group plan to the Advanced plan.
How reliable is your service?
Vanilla is hosted with one of the world's best and biggest hosting providers. Our system is designed to scale and handle immense amounts of traffic. We do regular backups of all your data.
