How does the 30-day free trial work?
To continue using Vanilla after the trial period, you must enter payment information and confirm your subscription. If you do not subscribe, your account will automatically be canceled and your site deleted. You can contact sales if you would like to arrange payments by invoice.

Can you handle very large communities?
Yes, Vanilla serves hundreds of millions of page views each month and can scale to meet spiky or sustained high-traffic.

Can I change plans at any time?
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. The one caveat is that if you are downgrading, you may need to contact us to assist in the transition of removing features from your account.

Can I export my data if I want to switch from Vanilla?
Yes, we are committed to data portability and will provide you with a data export upon request.

What are my payment options?

Can you migrate the data from my existing forum?
Yes. We are experts at forum migration. We have migrated hundreds of communities from dozens of other platforms.

Are there overages if I go over the page view limit?
The included page views are well matched to the plan levels and our customers rarely go over their limit. Overages apply if you go significantly over the plan limit. If you do go over, someone will contact you to determine if it's more cost effective to upgrade, purchase a page view pack or pay monthly overages.

Do you offer services?
Yes, Vanilla offers services to help configure your community, migrate your data from an existing platform, create a custom theme or help integrate to your website, app or game.
